ACEnano: a reliable framework for nanomaterials risk assessment
Duration: 1 December 2017 - 31 December 2020
ACEnano is laying the foundation for greater confidence in nanosafety studies and findings. By establishing a physico-chemical characterisation of nanomaterials, the project will simplify and facilitate contextual (hazard or exposure) description and its transcription into a reliable risk assessment framework.
Edelweiss Connect is providing ACEnano’s Knowledge Infrastructure as a public resource. its data warehouse offers long-term storage of results in a reusable format directly linked to the methods applied. It supports the implementation of Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR) data principles, advancing the reproducibility and documentation process towards the goal of generating reference resources for nanomaterials risk assessment.
Client: European Commission, under Horizon 2020 Framework Programme on “Analytical techniques and tools in support of nanomaterial risk assessment”
