ABOUT THIS PROJECT

ACEnano coordinated by the University of Birmingham is developing a widely implementable and robust tiered approach to physico-chemical characterisation of nanomaterial that will simplify and facilitate contextual (hazard or exposure) description and its transcription into a reliable nanomaterials risk assessment framework.

EwC as leader of the “Linking Ontology and Methodology” work package is in charge of the development of a methodology and characteristics ontology, data and knowledge warehousing as well as method and protocol standardization.
