SmartSafety™

Empowering Safety Assessments with Precision

SmartSafety is a software that serves as an operational safety assessment and decision support application enabled by a central repository for product data on ingredients and formulas, that can interface with other systems (e.g., vendor databases, ERPs etc) for the purpose of improving the performance of human health assessments (using Margin of Safety (MOS) & Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) calculations) and environmental impact scoring (e.g. using biodegradation indices) of formulas. 

 

Business cases include the goal to reduce clinical safety testing costs  and enhance  operational efficiency which is necessary to handle incremental workload due to  sustainability initiatives and need to respond to new regulations (e.g., MoCRA from the FDA, Cosmetic Supervision and Administration Regulation (CSAR) regulation introduced in China). Edelweiss Connect, in collaboration with customers and partners, develops and deploys the software (front and back end) to meet business requirements.
